Virgen Milagrosa

Colegio Virgen Milagrosa is a private center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in Madrid, in the Hortaleza district. It is a bilingual school with a single line per course, which gives it a small and family-like character, with a personal and close treatment towards the students. It offers Early Childhood Education, both in its first cycle (0-3 years) and in the second (3-6), and Primary Education (6-12), with Spanish and English as languages. It has nearby metro stations (San Lorenzo and Mar de Cristal).

Its educational proposal is based on an innovative methodology that includes early stimulation, cooperative learning, corners, and projects. The teaching of English as a foreign language is one of its hallmarks. The development of digital competence is worked on through the TIC-TAC-TEP project: students use tablets from the age of 3 and, in the last years of Primary, Chromebooks and robotics projects, where the emphasis is on research, design, and discovery. The center has the Educamos platform, which facilitates continuous communication between families and teachers.

The school identifies with the Vincentian ideology, whose main characteristic is helping those in need, and takes the Gospel and the model of Jesus of Nazareth as a guiding thread to convey Christian values and promote the human, spiritual, and intellectual development of students. Among its projects is the service-learning 'A tu lado', focused on intergenerational encounters, and language immersion weeks.
