San Juan Bautista

San Juan Bautista is a public educational center located in the Hortaleza district of Madrid. It offers Compulsory Secondary Education, with diversification programs in the third and fourth years, and Baccalaureate, which includes the International Baccalaureate option. Teaching is provided in Spanish, with bilingual coordination in English.

The center participates in the Erasmus+ KA2 student mobility project and has courses co-financed by the European Social Fund in the third year of ESO (Mathematics) and in the fourth year of ESO (Mathematics, Physics-Chemistry, Biology-Geology, Economics, and Latin). It has a student helper program for welcoming new students and develops activities within Sports Schools and IPAFD, as well as the Regional Drug Plan. Among its own projects are Radiosfera, a podcast program created by students, and the Research Seminar for first-year Baccalaureate students, in the fields of Sciences and Social Sciences and Humanities. The Seminar of Letters is also held, where first-year Baccalaureate students collaboratively research Humanities topics with a transversal approach.
