La Milagrosa

Colegio Virgen Milagrosa, known as La Milagrosa, is a private bilingual center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in Madrid, in the Hortaleza district. It is a single-line school, which gives it a small and family-like character, with personal and close treatment. It offers Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6), and Primary Education (6-12), with a Spanish curriculum and English as a foreign language.

Its educational offer is supported by innovative methodologies such as early stimulation, cooperative learning, corners, and projects. The faculty aims for students to grow happy and achieve their goals, combining intellectual and emotional development. The educational community works together in a warm environment, with tolerance and respect. Digital competence is developed through the TIC-TAC-TEP project: students use tablets from the age of 3 and, in 5th and 6th grades, Chromebooks and robotics projects. In robotics, open projects are proposed with an emphasis on research, design, and discovery. Bilingualism is a hallmark of the center, with the goal of enabling students to acquire greater communicative competence in English and expand their cultural and job opportunities.

The Vincentian ideology inspires the training of the center, which highlights helping those in need. The educational proposal takes the Gospel and the figure of Jesus of Nazareth as a reference to convey Christian values and promote human, spiritual, and intellectual development. Among the projects and activities are the APS project 'A tu lado', for intergenerational meetings, and a week of linguistic immersion at Farm Camp. The center organizes open house days, provides information to families for the admission process, and has the Educamos platform for communication between families and teachers. It also has an official uniform sales point at the center. The motto of the course is 'TRANSFORMA'.
