Arturo Soria

The Conservatorio Profesional de Música Arturo Soria is a public center in the Community of Madrid that began its journey in 1992. Its purpose is to train those who wish to dedicate themselves professionally to music, and for this, it offers Elementary and Professional Music Education. It is located in the municipality of Madrid, in the district of Hortaleza, and has a nearby metro station, Arturo Soria. It is the center with the most students and specialties in the entire Community of Madrid.

Currently, it has nearly 900 students and a faculty of approximately one hundred teachers. Its facilities total 15,079 square meters and offer 29 instrumental specialties, including string, wind, keyboard, and percussion instruments, as well as singing, flamenco, and ancient music, among others. Teaching is organized into departments such as Singing, Composition, Ensembles and Percussion, String and Bow, Flamenco and Music, Ancient Music, Chamber Music, Repertoire, Keyboard, Wind, and Orientation. The center provides students the opportunity to request instruments on loan. In addition to musical training, the center's project focuses on the personal development of students and their emotional well-being during demanding studies.
