Nuestra Señora De Los Dolores

Nuestra Señora De Los Dolores is a semi-private center in Madrid, located in the Chamberí district, created in 1970 as a kindergarten and parish project for children aged 2 to 6 years. Since 2000, it has been part of the network of privately funded centers supported by public funds in the Community of Madrid. Currently, it serves students in early childhood education, from the first cycle (0-3 years) to the second cycle (3-6 years), and is authorized by the Education Department of the Community of Madrid.

The educational project of the center places the child as the protagonist of their learning. It has a specialized team in early childhood education and proposes playful and experiential activities that enrich and teach. The school considers it essential to maintain a close relationship with families and to involve them in the activities that the children carry out. Additionally, it maintains collaboration agreements with schools in the area to facilitate access for its former students.

The facilities include six spacious classrooms with natural lighting and ventilation: one baby classroom (0-1 year), three classrooms for 1-2 years, and two for 2-3 years, with differentiated areas for rest, hygiene, meals, and activities, and furniture adapted to each age. It has heating throughout the school and differentiated outdoor play areas, with safety flooring in the baby area, as well as safety measures such as doors with locking systems. Services include a cafeteria, school transport, early riser service, extended hours, and extracurricular activities. The school hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of extension from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM upon justification.
