El Porvenir

El Porvenir is a semi-private school located in the center of Madrid, in the Chamberí-Cuatro Caminos area, where it has been operating for 128 years. It offers early childhood education (first and second cycle), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18).

Its educational proposal is based on two pillars: Education in Values and Social and Emotional Education, aiming to support the academic, personal, emotional, and social growth of students. The school's methodology is based on Project-Based Learning, present in early childhood education, primary education, and compulsory secondary education (ESO), and on Cooperative Learning, which emphasizes inclusion, teamwork, and the development of each student's abilities. The Social and Emotional Learning program is applied at all stages through specific activities in the classroom and by taking advantage of everyday situations at school. The school also has its own Educational Innovation program.

The school is bilingual in English at all stages and offers German as a second foreign language in 6th grade of primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). It enhances artistic development through music and the arts, integrates hands-on work in various subjects, gives importance to physical activity and sports, and promotes reading. It has a cafeteria, extracurricular activities, and nursing services for students aged 1 and 2 years. In the 2025 PAU call, all presented students passed.
