Claudio Moyano

CEIP Claudio Moyano is a public bilingual center dependent on the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid, located in the Chamberí district. It provides education for children aged 0 to 12 years, covering both cycles of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, and promotes bilingualism through workshops in the English language.

The center is organized in Line 1, with one classroom per grade except for the ages of 3, 4, and 5 years, which have two classrooms each. It is a preferred center for the integration of students with autism spectrum disorder, with a specific classroom, and claims to have been a pioneer in the incorporation of the 0 to 3 years cycle. In the first cycle of Early Childhood, it has classrooms for ages 0-1, 1-2, and 2-3 years; in the second cycle, play and psychomotricity are key learning axes. Among its services are the cafeteria, with breakfast options and reduced prices, and book lending. Families can communicate through the Raíces platform and the Roble application.

The school participates in the Erasmus+ program with a project on health and well-being alongside centers from Portugal and Lithuania ("Play your way to health"), and has resources for managing complaints within the framework of the Regional Plan Against Drugs of the Community of Madrid. It has an AMPA and organizes open house days to showcase its facilities. Its values include autonomy, respect, camaraderie, optimism, empathy, overcoming challenges, and sustainability.
