Santa Catalina De Sena

Santa Catalina De Sena is a semi-private school located in Madrid, in the Chamartín district. It offers the Spanish curriculum and provides early childhood education, early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Its educational proposal is structured around a Pastoral Project and a Pedagogical Project, focusing on Christian values and supporting students in their personal and academic development. The school is part of the network of schools of the Francisco Coll Educational Foundation.

In the linguistic field, the school is bilingual in Spanish and English. English is taught at all levels, with a native teacher from the age of 3; in primary education, Science, Physical Education, and Arts are included in bilingual learning. In early childhood education, project-based learning is emphasized, with hands-on and experiential literacy and manipulative mathematics. In primary education, robotics and responsible use of technology are incorporated, along with retreats and gatherings. In compulsory secondary education (ESO), English continues with a native teacher, project-based work, a 1-to-1 program with personal computers, exchanges with other schools, retreats, and gatherings. In Bachillerato, personalized academic and professional guidance is offered, core and elective subjects, performance monitoring, and preparation for university entrance exams.

Among its services and facilities are a cafeteria with its own kitchen and adapted menus, a nurse, a psychopedagogical office, mandatory uniforms from age 2 to 2nd year of Bachillerato, supervised study from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, early arrival from 7:30 AM for students from 1st year of early childhood education, language immersion camps during non-school weeks in collaboration with Kids&us, extracurricular activities, school transport, and extended hours. It has a library, laboratory, computer room, gym, playground, and school garden.
