Santa Bernardita

Colegio Santa Bernardita is a semi-private, Catholic confessional center dedicated to Early Childhood Education for First and Second Cycle, catering to children aged 1 to 6 years. It belongs to the Congregation of the Religious Sisters of Charity of Nevers and is located in the Salamanca neighborhood in Madrid. Its teaching team knows and respects the center's ideology and works on its enrichment through classroom work, research, and continuous training.

The educational project of the center is defined as pluralistic, tolerant, and respectful of different cultural, ideological, and social trends, promoting values such as solidarity, respect, peace, tolerance, and critical thinking. It seeks a participatory, democratic, motivating, and inclusive school, with an education for equality that respects each student's personal characteristics. Among the center's objectives is to achieve a coexistence climate based on respect and open communication among all members of the educational community. Classroom work encompasses logical-mathematical skills, reading, writing, movement, gestures, and rhythm, as well as the development of emotional capacities.

The center has its own coexistence plans, attention to diversity, tutorial action, integration of new technologies, and promotion of reading and writing, in addition to an action plan, a pedagogical proposal that specifies the Early Childhood Education curriculum, and rules for organization, operation, and coexistence. The offer includes Spanish and English, cafeteria service, and extended hours.
