Menagar

Menagar is a private early childhood education center located in the Chamartín district of Madrid. It was founded in 1981 by María del Carmen Menarguez De Frutos and authorized by the Ministry of Education and Culture to provide Early Childhood Education for children aged 0 to 6 years. Its own educational project is based on the motto "Let me grow slowly" and focuses on respecting each child's individual pace. Since 1986, Maribel Correa Menarguez has worked at the center as a preschool teacher and psychopedagogical advisor for families, and since 2004, she has been in charge of its direction.

The center offers instruction in Spanish and English, with an age-adapted language learning method, Total English Teaching (TET), which aims to promote bilingualism from the earliest years. Its multidisciplinary approach includes early stimulation, child coaching, ICT and robotics, environmental education, mindfulness, reading, chess, yoga, music, cinema, and art. Extracurricular activities include sign language, farm visits, aquatic stimulation for children, and bilingual musical language. It also offers services such as a parents' school, yoga for expectant mothers, respiratory physiotherapy, and comprehensive hygiene services.

The educational team consists of teachers and specialists in early childhood education, along with a psychopedagogical office, a pediatric office, and nursing, pediatric optometry, and nutritionist services. Collaboration with families is one of the pillars of the center, which views growth as a joint task. Throughout its history, it has established relationships with local schools to ensure continuity in the education provided. The school day runs from 07:30 to 18:00 hours. The center also informs about the call for the Early Childhood Education Scholarship from the Community of Madrid, aimed at the first cycle (0 to 3 years) in authorized private centers.
