Campus Dental Madrid

Campus Dental Madrid is a private Vocational Training center located in the Chamartín district of Madrid. It is an Official Vocational Training Center accredited by the Ministry of Education that offers a Higher Degree program in Dental Hygiene, lasting 2,000 hours divided into two courses of 1,000 hours each. Classes are held in the afternoon. The center is integrated into a dental clinic, allowing students to gain practical experience in a real environment from the first day of class. Among its facilities, it includes a laboratory.

The training plan is organized into professional modules of a theoretical-practical nature. Throughout the first year, topics such as reception and logistics in the dental clinic, study and exploration of the oral cavity, dental intervention, general pathophysiology, first aid, and a personal itinerary for employability are covered. In the second year, modules such as epidemiology in oral health, education for oral health, conservative dentistry, periodontology, surgery and implants, prosthetics and orthodontics, professional English, digitalization and sustainability applied to productive sectors, as well as an intermodular project on dental hygiene are addressed. To access the program, it is necessary to meet one of the direct access requirements, such as holding a high school diploma, a Technician or Higher Technician degree, having passed the COU, or holding a university degree; those who do not meet these requirements can access through a test.

The qualification obtained is the Official Higher Degree in Dental Hygiene, which provides direct access to undergraduate university studies and preferential access to undergraduate studies in Health Sciences. Upon completion of the studies, it is possible to request credit recognition prior to entering a degree program, and validations are obtained for transitioning from Vocational Training to a degree, with the assignment of 120 ECTS credits to the program. Professional opportunities develop in the public and private healthcare sector, in companies in the sector, or through the creation of one's own business, in occupations such as dental hygienist, oral hygienist, specialist technician in dental hygiene, or health educator.
