San Ildefonso

CEIP San Ildefonso is a public bilingual school in English. The bilingual project is applied throughout the Early Childhood Education stage (3, 4, and 5 years) and, in Primary Education, since the 2003-2004 school year, the areas of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Artistic Education (Plastic), and Physical Education are taught in English, from 1st to 6th grade. The center is defined as a small school in size but with a long history, with professional and committed teaching staff.

The general class schedule is from 09:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:00, with a complementary hour from 12:30 to 13:30. In September and June, the class schedule is from 09:00 to 13:00 and the complementary hour from 13:00 to 14:00. The "Primeros del cole" service operates from 08:00 to 09:00, and extracurricular activities, from October to May, from 16:00 to 17:00. It has a school cafeteria, with attention to students in two shifts. Among its facilities are nine classrooms for Early Childhood and Primary units equipped with digital boards, a multipurpose classroom (Religion), a Music classroom, a library with two rooms, a Computer classroom, a gym, an open and covered playground, an auditorium, and a cafeteria.

The faculty consists of a staff of 20 teachers, with a permanent position at the center, including tutors for Early Childhood and Primary and specialists in Music, Physical Education, English, Catholic Religion, Therapeutic Pedagogy, Audition and Language, and Guidance Psychology. It has an Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Team that analyzes the needs of students and identifies students with special educational needs, specific learning difficulties, or high abilities. The center develops its own artistic, library, garden, environmental projects, and a digital center project (School 4.0), in addition to complementary activities such as excursions and cultural activities, which include the realization of a collaborative mural in the playground alongside Boa Mistura. It also participates in the Regional Drug Plan of the Community of Madrid and has a program for access to information. Communication with families is channeled through the secretary, head of studies, management, tutors, teaching staff, and the AFA.
