San Ignacio

San Ignacio de Loyola School is a private center located in Torrelodones, whose educational activity dates back to 1964. It offers stages of Early Childhood (0-6 years), Primary, Secondary, National Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate, and Vocational Training. Its educational project is structured around five pillars: internationalization, sports, innovation, art, and personalized education. Through internationalization, the center proposes experiences that bring students closer to national and international realities; sports are addressed from an early age as part of a comprehensive education that attends to both body and spirit; innovation places the educational relationship at the center of the process and employs digital resources and mobile devices as catalysts; art, in disciplines such as music, drawing, or performing arts, is worked on as a tool to develop creative and communicative abilities, strengthen personality and self-esteem, improve memory and concentration, and convey values; and personalized education includes methodological and meaningful adaptations, individual or group tutoring, and personal and professional guidance.

The center's ideology is organized around values such as evangelization, openness, reality, the common good, unity, dedication, and passion, and defines a student profile in relation to themselves, others, the world, and God. Among its objectives are to strengthen the sense of belonging, develop academic, professional, and personal competencies in students, achieve inclusion by recognizing the value of every person, and be a reference in the educational field. The center carries out its work with support for families and maintains an offer of extracurricular activities, as well as secretarial, admission, and enrollment services, and scholarships and aids.

Regarding facilities and services, the center has a library, sports hall, gym, playground, and cafeteria, as well as school transport service and extracurricular activities. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and English, and the curriculum includes the International Baccalaureate alongside the Spanish curriculum.
