Los Angeles

Los Ángeles Preschool is a first cycle Early Childhood Education center (0 to 3 years) located in the Carabanchel district of Madrid. The school has an agreement with the Community of Madrid and is part of the Schooling Support Service (SAE) of Carabanchel, along with the other publicly funded preschools in the district. The vehicular language is Spanish.

The center offers a dining service and extended hours, with prices set by the Department of Education. Its educational proposal is based on heuristic play and supporting the integral development of children in an aesthetic, motivating, and safe environment that fosters observation, manipulation, and experimentation.

The admission of new students is governed by a points scale and an official calendar that includes the submission of applications, the publication of provisional lists, the claims period, the final lists, and the formalization of enrollment. Applications are preferably submitted electronically through the Raíces program of the Community of Madrid, and only exceptionally can they be delivered in person at the school. To apply for the publicly funded preschools in the Carabanchel district, only one registration can be submitted, indicating the chosen schools in order. The required documentation includes, among others, the ID or NIE of both parents, the family book or birth certificate, and the family registration, as well as documents that certify the circumstances that grant additional points according to the scale.
