Kinderin

Kinderin is a private Early Childhood Education center (first cycle, 0-3 years) located in Madrid, in the Carabanchel district. Its methodology is based on the experience of its leaders in Kindergarten in Germany and the pedagogies of Pikler and Montessori. It takes from them the respect for the rhythm and freedom of each child, the observation, and the support in their development. The work is organized calmly, without rush, adapting to the individual process of each little one, and is supported by positive discipline to promote mutual respect, responsibility, and emotional intelligence. The center cares for the spaces so that children can explore freely and safely, and emphasizes the connection between families through shared activities.

Among its services and proposals, it offers a dining service and pediatric nursing throughout the school day, which addresses health needs, promotes healthy habits, establishes safety protocols, and supervises nutrition. It also has early stimulation with a therapeutic pedagogy teacher, who promotes physical, intellectual, social, psychomotor, and cognitive development through playful activities. The open German concept is part of its method: it seeks learning through observation and imitation in groups of diverse ages and stimulates the initiation of the German language. The food is based on homemade meals, with fresh and unprocessed foods, supervised by nutritionists and nursing staff; optionally, families can access the Baby Led Weaning service. Students can start swimming during school hours. The center has a multisensory classroom for guided sessions, an open school for families that invites participation in activities with children and their educators, and activities with coeducator animals that contribute to cognitive, sensory, physical, and emotional stimulation. In addition, it has published its own stories; “Los ojos de Filomena” is the first volume of the collection “Cuentos a cuatro patas,” which addresses functional diversity and features the presence of coeducators.
