El Pequeño Sol

El Pequeño Sol is a private and independent educational center for children aged 0 to 3 years, located in Madrid, with access from the neighborhoods of Las Águilas, Aluche, and Cuatro Vientos, as well as from the M-40 and the Extremadura road. Founded in 1989, it has 33 years of experience and a consolidated team of educators. It is a medium-sized center that has chosen not to become a large institution in order to preserve its essence. In 2009, an expansion and renovation of the facilities took place.

The educational project is based on natural learning through autonomy and emotional relationships, stimulating the motor, cognitive, and emotional areas of children, adapting to their developmental pace. Personalized quarterly evaluations are conducted. The center offers menus prepared with individualized attention to allergies. It has four classrooms divided into infants, two for children aged 1 to 2 years, and one for 2 to 3 years. As for services, it includes a dining room, playground, school transport, and extracurricular activities. Regarding languages, Spanish is taught and children are introduced to a second language (English). The schedule is from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 17:30, with breakfast, lunch, and snack according to the time slot. Throughout the year, activities such as the adaptation period in September, themed parties in October, proposals with seasonal fruits in November, shadow theater, and harvest activities are developed.

Additionally, the center facilitates access to scholarships from the Community of Madrid and tax deductions, and accepts payment with childcare vouchers. Safety and health are emphasized, with disinfection and prevention measures. More than 1000 children have passed through the school throughout its history.
