Maria Corredentora

Colegio María Corredentora is a semi-private school located in the Barajas district of Madrid, owned by the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Compassion. With over 70 years of experience, it is dedicated to the education of children and young people with special educational needs, accompanying them throughout their school years.

Students can remain enrolled until the calendar year in which they turn 22. Instruction is provided in Spanish.

The educational project is characterized by personalized attention, with materials and proposals adapted to the needs of each student, and adjusted ratios based on their circumstances and abilities. The multidisciplinary team works in continuous communication to provide comprehensive support. Services include speech therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychomotricity, music education, physical education, hydrotherapy, nursing, social work, psychopedagogical guidance, and training in new technologies. The charisma of the Sisters of Compassion is present in the teaching model, which cares for both curricular learning and the emotional and spiritual well-being of students, promoting welcome, care, and empathy.

The center offers services such as a cafeteria, school transportation (with twelve routes throughout much of the Community of Madrid), and extracurricular activities. Among its facilities is a chapel. Students wear a uniform, the use of which varies according to the educational stage.
