Andal Alameda

Private preschool located in the Alameda de Osuna area, in the Madrid district of Barajas. It is part of Escuelas Infantiles Andal, a network of three schools in Madrid dedicated to the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years) and authorized by the Community of Madrid. The center organizes its classrooms by age: Soles (0-1 year), Lunas (1-2 years), and Estrellas (2-3 years). The first Andal school was founded in 1982 by Julián Vara Vara, and the family business is still managed by his children, teachers, and educators.

The educational project is unique and is built on various principles and methodologies, taking what each contributes. Bilingual education in Spanish and English holds a prominent place: tutors and teachers specializing in the English language work together to coordinate classroom programs and specific English lessons. The center places affection at the heart of its daily activities, attends to the individualized well-being of each child respecting different learning rhythms, applies positive discipline based on understanding, empathy, and respect, and works on values education.

Among its services and facilities are a private outdoor playground with an area designated for strollers, an in-house kitchen with daily menus prepared by cooks and supervised by nutritionists, daily attention from a pediatric medical team and a psychopedagogical team, infant sleep consulting, extracurricular activities, outings and excursions, and a digital agenda as a daily communication tool. The center remains open all year round, including July and August, with recreational programs, and offers ANDALCAMP, plans for days without school. Its staff consists of educators and teachers specializing in Early Childhood Education, teachers specializing in the English language, educators, a psychologist, and a pediatric team.
