Mi Nido

Casa Nido is a private early childhood education center for the first cycle (0-3 years) located in the Arganzuela district of Madrid. Its project is based on Montessori pedagogy, with a prepared environment to support children in their early years, respecting their individual pace, encouraging free movement, and learning through experience. The space is organized with scaled materials and a sensory and motor approach that promotes autonomy, concentration, and integral development in cognitive, social, emotional, and physical aspects.

The educational proposal is supported by three pillars: Montessori pedagogy, free movement, and natural bilingualism. The center offers a bilingual environment in Spanish and English where both languages coexist in routines, games, and conversations, following the One Person, One Language method, aiming for spontaneous and meaningful language acquisition. It works with small groups and personalized attention, and has educators trained in Montessori who act as guides, accompanying without imposing. The areas of work include practical life, sensory, language, mathematics, and culture, organized in mixed-age groups, without exams or punishments or rewards, so that each child can choose activities according to their interest. The center includes a gradual and respectful adaptation period and gives families a fundamental role in the process.

Among its services are cafeteria, school transport, early risers, extended hours, and extracurricular activities. In terms of health, it has ozone machines, continuous air purifiers, and climate control systems to maintain a clean environment.
