About the school

Luz Casanova Embajadores is a private religious school located in the Arganzuela district of Madrid. It was founded in 1954 by the initiative of the congregation of the Apostólicas del Corazón de Jesús, which, following the wishes of its founder Luz Casanova, created schools so that out-of-school children could feel welcomed, cared for, and have the opportunity to learn. Since September 2010, it has been part of the Fundación Educación y Evangelio, integrated into the network of Catholic Schools in Madrid.

It offers early childhood education, primary education, and compulsory secondary education (ESO), with more than 600 students, and provides Dual Bachillerato. Its educational project is based on the integral formation of individuals and educational innovation in its creative and functional dimension, with students as the protagonists of their own learning and the participation of families as a fundamental part of the project. The school has a communication tool for families that allows academic tracking and contact with teachers.

Among its services, it offers a cafeteria for all students who request it, with varied and balanced meals provided by a catering service, and a wide range of extracurricular activities including robotics, chess, dance, and rhythmic gymnastics. The school prepares Cambridge exams to certify English proficiency and facilitates uniform purchases for families for all educational stages. In secondary education, active recesses are developed aimed at well-being and coexistence.
