Escola Esteve Carles

Escola Esteve Carles is a public center in Lloret de Mar that provides early childhood and primary education. The early childhood stage is organized into small, medium, and large cycles, and primary education completes the offering. The center employs both Spanish and Catalan. Among its services, it includes a school cafeteria and a parents' association (AMPA).

The educational project is structured around the Projecte Faig, a proposal for project-based learning and experimentation. Through it, students address themes such as environmental care and water, with initiatives like the Fira Faig, the study of marine pollution, the profession of fisherman, or a visit to the Lloret de Mar wastewater treatment plant. In the area of English, the center celebrates English Day and conducts letter exchange activities, in addition to combining language learning with robotics through Makeblock mTiny in fifth grade. Artistic projects inspired by Joan Miró and Vincent van Gogh are also carried out, as well as discovery projects like the fish project in early childhood.

The center participates in the Physical Education Day in the Street with an outing to the beach and celebrates traditions like Sant Jordi, with the participation of sixth-grade students in the Fira del Llibre i la Rosa. Additionally, it organizes camps in Can Ribals, in Lles de Cerdanya, with activities such as kayaking and mountain routes, and other recreational days like the inflatable party or the farewell event for students finishing early childhood.
