Escola De Pràctiques I

Escola de Pràctiques I is a public school in Lleida, the oldest in the city, with a long history during which it has celebrated its 180th anniversary. It is defined as an inclusive and innovative center, committed to diversity and quality public education, and gives a prominent role to family participation.

It offers early childhood education in its two cycles (0-3 and 3-6 years), and primary education (6-12 years), with Spanish and Catalan as languages, and provides a school cafeteria service.

Among its spaces, it has a sensory classroom dedicated to the stimulation and sensory, emotional, and cognitive development of children through play and exploration. Families actively participate in the day-to-day life of the center through workshops and activities shared between school and families throughout the year, and the association of student families plays an active role. The center also organizes activities for the entire educational community, such as the autumn tables, led by the upper cycle students, or the end-of-year foam party, and students from the upper grades participate in proposals such as a scavenger hunt in English.
