Escola Sant Jordi

Escola Sant Jordi is a public educational center located in Lleida, in the district of Partidas Rurales. It offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. In the Early Childhood stage, classes are organized with the names blue, yellow, and green, while Primary includes grades one through six.

The center provides morning care, school meals, school transportation, and extracurricular activities. The working languages are Catalan and Spanish. Among its offerings are specific activities and others open to family participation, covering areas such as English, library, sports, festivals, gardening, music, and outings. Music is present both in classes and in oral language and singing initiatives: the upper cycle students participate in an interschool meeting of improvised singing that works on oral expression and solo singing. The center also celebrates end-of-year milestones, such as the farewell of sixth-grade students and the water festival.

The center has a school council, center documents, and a school calendar, and has its own digital strategy with a corresponding strategic plan, which encompasses aspects such as digital culture, the digital competence of students, and the healthy use of technologies.
