Escola Magí Morera I Galícia

Escola Magí Morera i Galícia is a public educational center in Lleida, located in the Mariola-Joc de la Bola district, offering education from ages 3 to 12. It provides the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years) and primary education (6-12 years), with Catalan as the language of instruction. The center has a cafeteria service and an extracurricular activities program.

Among the own projects developed are "Escolta'm", aimed at students from I5 to sixth grade; "A l'escola mengem fruita", focused on promoting healthy fruit consumption; and "Ara escric". Additionally, the center has a school radio station, Ràdio Magí Morera.

Throughout the school year, various activities are organized. Fifth-grade students have physical education sessions in the pool during the second and third terms, where they work on aquatic skills such as familiarization with the environment, breathing, floating, movements in the water, and basic swimming techniques. The upper cycle participates in a camp in Tamarit (Tarragona). There are also outings, such as the early childhood education and initial cycle trip to Cal Gort, in the Pobla de Cèrvoles, as a conclusion to a project about bees, or the visit to the Seu Vella with the tourist train during the cultural week, which in this edition was dedicated to the Roma community with dance, box, and garrotins workshops, among other activities. The school year concludes with a festival, and the center publishes the school calendar for families.
