Escola Sant Sebastià - ZER Serra Llarga

Escola Sant Sebastià is a public school in Ivars de Noguera integrated into the ZER Serra Llarga, a grouping of rural schools that shares an educational project. The ZER includes, in addition to this center, the schools of Castelló de Farfanya and Algerri, and takes its name from the mountain range that runs through these municipalities. The center offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years), with Catalan as the vehicular language.

The students of the center participate in the joint activities of the ZER, such as bike rides, a day of physical activity and coexistence that is organized periodically. Interdisciplinary projects linked to the natural environment have also been developed, including a cantata in which students from the second cycle of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education participated.
