Instituto Tecnológico Granada

The Instituto Tecnológico Granada (ITGranada) is a private center in Granada that offers regulated training degrees, courses for employed and unemployed individuals, and non-regulated training. Among its teachings are the Higher Degree in Multiplatform Application Development (DAM), the Higher Degree in Web Application Development (DAW), and the Medium Degree in Microcomputer Systems and Networks, as well as Professional Training for Employment (FPE) courses. The center has two campuses: the Instituto Tecnológico Granada in Granada and the Instituto Tecnológico Poniente in Loja.

Its methodology is called 'Learning By Doing' and aims to prepare students to work as professionals, with internships in a network of collaborating companies and partners. The center also works on students' social skills: from the beginning, activities and practices are presented in front of the rest of the class to develop public speaking and stress management, and part of the work is done in groups, reproducing roles typical of a company. Its training is oriented to facilitate access to employment and improve professional competencies in the digital field.

Regarding facilities and equipment, the center has computers with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, RAM memory from 4 to 8 GB, and SSD disks from 250 GB to mechanical disks of 1 TB, with Windows 10 and Ubuntu operating systems. It has a complete classroom of Mac computers for the study of design and programming of applications for iPhone, as well as rack cabinets, network and conventional printers, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, servers, soldering tools, and smartphone and laptop disassembly kits for assembly and disassembly practices. The teaching staff is active professionals in various sectors.
