Abencerrajes

CEIP Abencerrajes is a public educational center located in Granada, in the North district. It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle) for ages 3 to 6 years, and Primary Education for ages 6 to 12 years. It also has a Specific Classroom. Teaching is conducted in Spanish, with English as a present language in the center.

The center offers complementary services such as morning classroom, welcome classroom, school cafeteria, and extracurricular activities. Families can apply for discounts for these services. Tutoring sessions are held on Monday afternoons. Official communications with the center are conducted exclusively through corporate email and the Ipasen application. Students enter through the gate located on Camino de los Abencerrajes.

In the scope of its projects and activities, CEIP Abencerrajes develops the Gender Equality project 'I choose equality', as well as a cultural week. It also carries out initiatives for equal and healthy recesses and a non-sexist toy campaign. Students engage in science projects, such as those dedicated to the water cycle, climates, and relief, and celebrate activities like Halloween. The center has an Instagram account managed by families and the Management Team, where the direct image of students is not shown. Additionally, it organizes open house days and start-of-year meetings with families.
