Eb Privada L'arc De Sant Martí

Escola Bressol l'Arc de Sant Martí is a privately owned center located in Girona that welcomes children from 4 months to 3 years old. The center presents itself as a home where the needs and pace of each child are respected, and emphasizes the importance of collaboration with families.

Its educational project is based on the Waldorf method. The programming is developed by the educational team and is based on observation, experimentation, manipulation, and play, with the aim of helping children acquire learning and develop their creativity. There is a progressive approach to acquiring habits and routines that promote their autonomy, and attention is given to the overall development of the child by balancing their abilities and providing security in both directed and free artistic activities. The classrooms are organized by corners that change quarterly, where the senses and values are worked on. The work includes fine and gross motor skills, music, heuristic and symbolic play, and experimentation in a workshop with recycled materials. The children in I2 go on outings outside the school each term, linked to the current programming. The center celebrates parties and traditions shared with families, such as Carnestoltes, the Pessebre Vivent, the Castanyada, the Spring Festival, and the end-of-year party.

The adaptation process is considered a relevant stage: each child's time is respected so they feel secure in the classroom, comparisons between children are avoided, and family collaboration is sought.
