C.R.A. del Ebro

C.R.A. del Ebro is a public rural school that offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education in the towns of Gelsa, Velilla de Ebro, and La Zaida. Its areas of focus include English, music, physical education, religion, health education, and emotional education, and it has support from PT/AL. The school has a library and cultural agenda, and it develops a school garden. Additionally, it maintains the school radio project Radio Ebrito.

The school participates in the Health Promoting Schools initiative, where activities related to healthy habits are carried out, such as talks on hygiene and health or healthy breakfasts. It also collaborates with the Gelsa library in cultural activities for students.

In the field of entrepreneurship, C.R.A. del Ebro participates in the educational project of the Ibercaja Foundation "Learning to Undertake with Ibercaja," aimed at students in 5th and 6th grades of Primary Education, focusing on bringing the functioning of the entrepreneurial world closer to students from school, fostering autonomy and personal initiative. Throughout the school year, students create and manage a cooperative that is worked on in a multidisciplinary way across different subjects, culminating in a final result presented at the School Cooperative Markets held at the end of the school year. The cooperative created at the school is called RECICRA and is dedicated to designing, producing, and selling items such as keychains, prints, bracelets, bookmarks, magnets, and other products made by the students themselves.
