Poetisa Celia Viñas

CEIP Poetisa Celia Viñas is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education in Fuenlabrada. Its educational project includes a bilingual program and proposals for programming and robotics that are worked on both in Early Childhood and Primary, as well as experimentation activities in Science and a school garden. The center organizes open house days to introduce its educational proposal to interested families.

Throughout the school year, the school celebrates various activities in which the educational community participates. Among them are World Autism Awareness Day, with the creation of cards and decoration of the fence with ribbons, and the visit of the Dogpoint association, specialized in service dogs for children with ASD; Peace Day; International Children's Day, where each class works on a right; Carnival; Halloween, with activities to learn about English culture; and Christmas, with a day of coexistence in which families participate in workshops in the classrooms. The school year ends with dance performances from all levels, and the Day of San Isidro and Family Day are also commemorated.

The center promotes solidarity and inclusive initiatives, such as a race against childhood leukemia in collaboration with the Unoentrecienmil foundation, food collection for Cáritas, and a toy collection campaign for those affected by DANA, in which the AMPA collaborates. The students of 3rd and 4th grade of Primary spend time at the El Álamo School Farm. The school has a TGD Classroom and inclusive playgrounds, and has participated in the Awards Highlighting for its work with these projects.
