Manuela Malasaña

CEIP Manuela Malasaña is a public school in Fuenlabrada (Madrid) that offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years). Its teaching activity has been carried out since the 2008/2009 school year and is structured around values, innovation, and respect for the diversity of students' talents. The teaching team designs learning experiences aimed at awakening curiosity, fostering autonomy, and reinforcing coexistence, supporting the academic, personal, and social development of each child.

In terms of services and activities, the school has a cafeteria and a range of extracurricular activities that are configured each year based on the demand from families; among the published proposals is a robotics and video game programming activity. The center also develops a School Support and Accompaniment Program, aimed at improving the academic performance of students in situations of socio-educational vulnerability who require additional reinforcement beyond what is received during school hours. Other complementary initiatives include extended hours, no school days, open playgrounds, and school events. Communication between families and the school is organized through a specific plan, and the center uses educational platforms from the Community of Madrid.
