Francisco De Quevedo

Francisco De Quevedo is a public center for early childhood education and primary education located in Fuenlabrada. It offers the second cycle of early childhood education and the primary stage, with Spanish and English present in its teaching activities, and provides dining services, a library, and extracurricular activities.

Among its facilities, there is a dining hall with its own kitchen, a gym, a multi-sport court where mini basketball, futsal, and volleyball are practiced, a laboratory, a computer room, and an auditorium, which is also used as a space for parent meetings, presentations, and workshops. The Quevedo Library offers book loans and reading promotion activities. The center has differentiated playgrounds, one specifically for three-year-old students with approved swings and another for first-grade students, as well as a climbing wall in the gym and a school garden where five-year-old students grow tomatoes, peppers, and pumpkins.

The school works with active methodologies, technology, and robotics in its Future Classroom. It develops a school radio project, Onda Quevedo, in which all students participate and which has received an award from the AESIJ association, as well as a theater group. During the summer, it maintains an open school colony for work-life balance for families, and the AMPA organizes an urban camp.
