Institut Ramon Muntaner

Institut Ramon Muntaner is a public center located in Figueres that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and also provides vocational training (FP). The languages used in its stages are Spanish, Catalan, and French. The center has its own library and a reading club, whose chronicles are published periodically. It also develops enrichment projects and participates in the Erasmus+ program.

Among the services and resources it offers are the academic calendar for families, the list of books and materials for the course, and information about pre-registration and enrollment. For vocational training (FP), it publishes available spots and manages registration in a virtual queue to access them. It also provides information about assistance for students with specific educational support needs and about the choice of elective subjects for students in the first year of ESO. The center has references in career guidance and organizes extracurricular activities, including a choir with free registration.

The institute promotes initiatives related to diversity and announces the Premi de Narrativa Maria Àngels Anglada, of which it announces the finalist works. Students from the enrichment project have created the podcast "La mort del brigadier," presented at the Ceba Negra Festival in Figueres with the collaboration of Ràdio Vilafant.
