Escola Les Roques Blaves

Escola Les Roques Blaves is a public educational center located in Esparreguera. It provides early childhood education, covering the three levels of the second cycle (EI3, EI4, and EI5), and primary education, from first to sixth grade. The working languages include Catalan, Spanish, and English.

Its pedagogical approach revolves around various projects and methodologies: the Projecte Faig, the Florence Program (focused on improving mathematics), the Philosophy 3/18 project, STEAM, and formative assessment. The center develops the sponsorship of Les Roques Blaves, an ecological garden, and a line of work related to sustainability as a green school, with initiatives such as the bicycle ride, the collection of used oil, and the Missió Apilo. It also applies cooperative learning, peer learning (GRAI), and interactive groups, and specifically works on music, English, physical education, and the arts.

Regarding services, the center offers childcare, a school cafeteria, school transportation, and extracurricular activities. It also has a digital strategy for the center, which includes the digital strategic plan and the digital culture of the center, and participates in a book reuse program. In its organization, it has a school council and a delegate council, and holds meetings at the beginning of the school year with families, in addition to the AMPA activity.
