Escola Martinet

Escola Martinet is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in Cornellà de Llobregat. It offers early childhood education stages (first cycle 0-3 and second cycle 3-6) and primary education (6-12). The groups are organized as Petits, Inicial, Mitjans, and Grans. The center is defined as an active, dynamic, and lively school, oriented towards learning.

It has a school cafeteria service, with menus published monthly. It has a digital learning environment linked to the XTEC network, providing access to various platforms and educational resources. The school develops projects and complementary activities, such as cultural outings, artistic proposals, and workshops. Among the initiatives are projects on comics, sound, drama activities in English, learning corners for the Catalan language and mathematics, and participation in Edudansa, a dance activity with other schools in Cornellà. Visits to city spaces are also organized, such as the Parc Esportiu Llobregat (Cornellà en Miniatura) or the Biblioteca Teresa Pàmies, and participation in Erasmus mobilities, such as a student exchange for 5th graders in Bologna.

The school community includes families, teachers, and a family association. The center promotes actions related to school climate and student well-being; for example, it has replaced the traditional bell with background music to signal activity changes. It also has a co-education committee that organizes talks for families on affective-sexual education. The vehicular language is Catalan, with activities in English.
