Jugando En Azahara

C.E.I. Jugando en Azahara is a private nursery school located in Córdoba, in the Poniente Sur district, and affiliated with the Junta de Andalucía. It provides early childhood education in its two cycles: first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years). The teaching is offered in Spanish and English, and the center has services such as a cafeteria, playground, morning classroom (early birds), and extracurricular activities.

Its educational project is based on inclusive education and innovative methodologies such as Montessori, project-based learning (PBL), discovery learning, the Reggio Emilia approach, and learning through play. The center is guided by the three Cs: competencies, capabilities, and heart, and incorporates pedagogical provocations from the Reggio Emilia approach to stimulate curiosity and active exploration. Among its objectives are to promote the integral development of children in their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive dimensions, foster their affective, sensorimotor, and cognitive abilities, and collaborate closely with families and associations such as Cruz Roja and Cáritas to ensure equal opportunities.

The center has a multidisciplinary team of educators and a bilingual early childhood teacher. It also works towards reconciling the work and personal life of families.
