Ciudad Jardín

CEIP Ciudad Jardín is a public educational center in Córdoba that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle, with courses for 3, 4, and 5 years) and Primary Education (from first to sixth grade). The center teaches Spanish, English, and French, with the latter having a prominent presence: fifth-grade students created their own pop-up edition of The Little Prince in French class, and sixth graders made a timeline about the life of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The work of The Little Prince accompanies the center throughout the year and was the focus of one of its cultural weeks.

The school celebrates an annual cultural week with workshops for students and organizes extracurricular activities from the PROA program and foreign language classes. It has a library and a school garden where, through the ZTS program, workshops on gardens and horticulture are developed. Additionally, it promotes coexistence and interculturality with initiatives such as the Nations Fair, held alongside Family Day, which includes stands dedicated to the culture of more than twenty countries, workshops, storytelling, and a charity market.

The center participates in solidarity campaigns, such as blood donation, in which sixth-grade students collaborated, and the charity run for Save the Children. Third, fourth, and fifth-grade students go on outings to the natural environment, such as a visit to the Cañada Verde Nature Center in the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park. It also hosts activities like a Halloween gymkhana and sixth-grade graduation.
