Al-Ándalus

CEIP Al-Ándalus is a public school in Córdoba that defines itself as a bilingual center in German, a hallmark that the school presents as unique in the city. Its educational journey in Córdoba dates back to 1972, and its facilities occupy 12,000 square meters. The center offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, and also has a specific classroom.

In terms of services, it has a school cafeteria with 240 places, which operates for a maximum of two hours from the end of the morning school day, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It offers a morning classroom from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, with playful and educational activities adapted to the age and developmental stage of the students. The extracurricular activities, which extend until 6:00 PM, include German, English, futsal, kung-fu, rhythmic gymnastics, theater, and chess; in addition, there is Cordobasket, with initiation for children aged 3 to 5 years and the categories Pekes, Benjamín, and Alevín, from Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The center also facilitates student transportation with a school bus service for those residing in the Trassierra neighborhood and participates in the Family Plan of the Junta de Andalucía.

The school develops various educational plans and projects, including the Peace School, actions aimed at gender equality, health education, school libraries as support for education, and measures for Educational Digital Transformation. Additionally, it is a reference center for university teaching practices.
