Escaladei

Escola Escaladei is a private, secular, Catalan, and plural educational institution located in Cerdanyola del Vallès. It was initiated by a group of parents and has a thirty-year history under the same ownership, maintaining a unique and independent project without relying on other entities. It offers Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education, from ages 3 to 16, with one class per level, meaning one class per year. Its educational project revolves around the uniqueness of each student, aiming for children to be happy, grow as individuals with security, self-esteem, and emotional balance, and achieve the maximum possible academic performance. Among its principles and values, the trust of families, responsibility, and total dedication stand out, considering students as the most important center and reference, and effort as the key to learning.

Regarding organization, the center prioritizes small group classes, reaching up to 70% of hours in small groups during the Secondary stage. The vehicular languages are Catalan and Spanish, and English and French or German are also taught. The center is a Cambridge School Premium Partner, allowing for the acquisition of the official English certificate. The human team, due to its human and professional quality and commitment, is considered decisive for the project.

Among the services offered, there is a cafeteria with its own kitchen (not catering), with shifts and spaces differentiated by age, small groups, attention to diversity, and vegan options. It also has morning care from 7:30 AM and afternoon service until 6 PM, as well as school transport and extracurricular activities. The center's activities include school swimming, voluntary from P-3 and during school hours at the UAB facilities; educational outings to different spaces; camps at the end of May, from P-3 to 1st of secondary, where the little ones spend two nights and the older ones a week; and summer camp in July and September, by weeks, in the morning or morning and afternoon.
