Esc. De Música Bellaterra

El Musical – Escola de Música de Bellaterra is a private music education and research center authorized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Cataluña. It is recognized as a music school and as an authorized center for Professional Music Degree, and through the Asociación Musical Bellaterra, it provides ongoing training recognized by the Department of Education. With over thirty years of experience in music teaching, the center organizes its offerings into three main areas.

The area of non-regulated education corresponds to the music and dance school and extends from prenatal stages with no age limit: it includes a program for pregnant women and babies from four to sixteen months, programs for ages one to six years, elementary level starting from seven years, and for adults, and intermediate level with free subject choice. The area of regulated education includes the Professional Music Degree, which can be accessed from the age of eleven through a test and leads to an official qualification. The third area, supporting professionals in the sector, is continuing education, aimed at music and education professionals through seminars, courses, and working groups.

The center also develops activities such as a concert cycle, an intensive chamber music course, music and early childhood days, Jaques-Dalcroze rhythmic training, musical resources for the classroom, and jam sessions, and has the Coral Bellaterra.
