Via Romana

CEIP Vía Romana is a public Early Childhood and Primary Education center located in Cercedilla. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, for ages 3 to 6, and Primary Education, for ages 6 to 12, with a bilingual project starting at age 3. The offer is completed with a school cafeteria service and transportation, with a route.

In Early Childhood Education, the center works on the integral development of students through play, experimentation, and affection, promoting personal autonomy, discovery of the environment, and language development while respecting individual rhythms. In Primary Education, the acquisition of key competencies such as literacy, logical-mathematical reasoning, and social awareness is prioritized through active methodologies that encourage critical thinking and cooperative work.

The center has a plan to address individual differences, aimed at identifying and responding to the specific needs of each student through personalized support measures and a climate of respect and empathy. The cafeteria has its own kitchen; its hours are from 14:00 to 16:00 from October to May and from 13:00 to 15:00 in September and June. The general schedule of the center establishes entry at 09:00, exit at 13:00 for students who do not use the cafeteria, and exit at 15:00 for those who use the cafeteria or the route.
