Institut Ridaura

Institut Ridaura is a public secondary education center located in Castell d'Aro, in the Vall d'Aro (Girona). It provides compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and the BatxiBac program, and also offers vocational training (FP) at the intermediate level. The center has a library and provides dining services, school transportation, and extracurricular activities. The working languages include Catalan, Spanish, and English.

The institute uses the educational digital environment of the Generalitat, with tools such as XTEC, Edu365, Àgora, Alexandria, ARC, Merlí, Odissea, Sinapsi, and Dossier, in addition to platforms like iEduca, Google Classroom, and Esfera. The center publishes lists of books and materials for each course and maintains information about the library service.

Among the activities of the students are the official French DELF-DALF exams, in which the center has obtained certifications, and the Cangur mathematics tests. The performing arts and dance students perform representations, and the center organizes a football tournament among ESO students, as well as a week of Catalan culture. The institute holds informational meetings with families, such as the start-of-year meeting and the 1st ESO meeting. The AFA Ridaura collaborates on initiatives such as the purchase and reuse of textbooks. In the university entrance exams (PAU), all students presented in the general phase passed.
