Escola Serra de Coll-Bas

Escola Serra de Coll-Bas is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in Carme. It is defined as a rural school, with the characteristics that this implies: small, village-based, and public, rooted in the territory and contributing to the life of the municipality, bringing together activities and people and serving as a meeting and learning point.

The center offers the second cycle of early childhood education (ages 3 to 6) and the primary stage (ages 6 to 12), organized into initial cycle, middle cycle, and upper cycle. The vehicular language is Catalan. It has a school cafeteria service, where recreational and coexistence activities are developed during the midday period.

Among its projects and activities, the center develops the Projecte FAIG and has its own educational project, in addition to having the support of the AFA. Students participate in robotics workshops, in celebrations such as Saint Patrick's Day within English classes, in theater outings organized by the Diputación de Barcelona, and in school camps. The center also maintains activities that connect with the children of the Llar.
