Escola Ramon Macip - Dolors Granés

Escola Ramon Macip - Dolors Granés is a public school in Cardedeu that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle, from 3 to 6 years) and Primary Education (from 6 to 12 years), with Spanish and Catalan as languages. It organizes its students into three groups: Petits, Mitjans, and Grans. Among its services, it has a school cafeteria and extracurricular activities, and it has an AFA (parents' association).

The educational project of the center includes its own initiatives such as the FAIG project, which has a virtual space and a FaigLab room with maker tools; the Vincles project; the Art Vigent project, with visits from artists and work around exhibitions; and the Atelier, a creation space with a chosen theme each year. Students participate in theater productions, in the creation of murals at the school, and in projects like "Històries de vida" from fifth grade. The center also has the Astèrix library, has participated in the Fira Faig, and publishes an informative bulletin.

The school is part of l'Estella, a community creation space promoted by the AFAs of Escola Granés, Institut Pla Marcell, and Escola Can Manent along with the Associació de Veïns i Veïnes de la Granada, which opens the FaigLab spaces of the centers to the community. The center also celebrates activities such as Plaça dels Contes and Carnestoltes, and works on the training and cohesion of its teaching team.
