Escola Turó Del Drac

Escola Turó del Drac is a public center located in Canet de Mar that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. Its educational project revolves around active learning, knowledge construction, and the promotion of values, with students as the protagonists of their creations and projects, which extend beyond the classrooms and are displayed in the hallways of the center. The center promotes active participation in traditions to keep cultural heritage alive, integrating it into education and combining it with an innovative pedagogical proposal, seeking a balance between preserving roots and preparing students for the future. The vehicular languages are Spanish and Catalan.

The teaching team works collaboratively, sharing meanings, knowledge, and experiences, and encourages the involvement and participation of everyone with interest and eagerness to learn. The center constantly incorporates resources and technological tools to enrich learning and enhance students' competencies.

Among its services and activities, the center has a school cafeteria, a school library linked to the PLAMIB program, a school radio, and a range of extracurricular activities. It also has the support of the AFA (families association) and uses a virtual learning environment for school work.
