Campo Real

IES Campo Real is a public center located in Campo Real, in the Community of Madrid. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and a basic vocational training (FP) cycle. Teaching is provided in Spanish, with the presence of English, and the center has a cafeteria, school transport, and extracurricular activities.

Throughout the school year, the center organizes various complementary activities. Notable are environmental education days with guided routes through the surroundings led by forest agents, outings for waste collection, the creation of ecosystems and volcano models, and the construction of insect hotels. It also schedules literary meetings with writers, a literary contest, a Christmas card competition, multi-adventure activities, a final stage trip, a trip to Oxford, and plays in English. Additionally, there is an inclusive playground program, the distribution of fruits and vegetables during recess, and visits to a wildlife recovery center like GREFA.

Second-year Bachillerato students take the University Entrance Exams at the University of Alcalá. The center also promotes youth counseling initiatives developed by the students themselves and participates in the Geography Olympiad of the Community of Madrid. Among the activities linked to the subject of Religion are a pilgrimage and the creation of a nativity scene.
