Escola La Bòbila

Escola La Bòbila is a public educational center in Cambrils that offers the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years) and primary education (6-12). It provides school meal services, school transportation, and extracurricular activities, and its teaching includes Catalan, Spanish, and English. The center is supported by the AMPA.

Throughout the year, students participate in various complementary activities. In the musical field, students attend auditions at the Escola Municipal de Música de Cambrils and work with music labs and challenges. Workshops for bastoners are organized with the colla del Ball de Bastons de Cambrils, workshops for castells with els Xiquets de Cambrils, and puppet workshops based on stories by Hans Christian Andersen, in addition to visits to the Biblioteca Josep Salceda i Castells.

Among the classroom projects are learning about body parts and the five senses, creating the water cycle in a bag, making clay sculptures inspired by Yayoi Kusama's style, working on instructional texts through the Easter mona, and school climate assemblies. The early childhood cycle celebrates the Easter mona and receives visits that transform the classroom into a small farm. Primary students go on camps in Vallclara, with nature and English as the main themes. The center defines itself as a school that advocates for quality public education, inclusive and with the necessary resources for children.
