Institut Cabrils

Institut Cabrils is a public secondary education center located in Cabrils. It offers the stages of ESO and Bachillerato, and among its working languages are Catalan, Spanish, and English. It uses the Moodle platform for the development of subjects, has a parents' association (AMPA), and has a library.

At the beginning of each school year, the lists of groups and assigned classrooms are published at the main entrance, and each student goes to their classroom, where the tutor provides the necessary information. Students in 1st ESO enter at 9:00 AM, while those in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ESO enter at 8:00 AM. Digital licenses are activated during the first days of class following the instructions of the teaching staff. At the end of the school year, intensive hours are applied, reducing the schedule until 1:30 PM.

Throughout the year, various activities are organized. Students in 1st ESO participate in a science workshop with 6th-grade students from the l'Olivera and Mas Maria schools, and the center holds a scientific challenge competition during Science Week. The RockIn musical concert takes place at the end of the year, along with Carnival performances featuring costume groups and choreographies. The center organizes a study trip to Italy, visiting Bologna, Venice, Padua, Verona, and the islands of Murano and Burano. Additionally, a monthly reading challenge is developed with meetings to share impressions about the readings, and the center participates in the ecoBooks book collection program in the library.
