LORENZO MILANI

The Private Integrated Vocational Training Center Lorenzo Milani is a privately owned center located in Cabrerizos. It offers Basic Vocational Training, Intermediate Level, and Higher Level, in both in-person and virtual modalities, with a training offer linked to the forestry sector, gardening, and the environment.

Within Basic Vocational Training, it offers specialties in Manufacturing and Assembly, Vehicle Maintenance, Agro-gardening and Floral Arrangements, and Cooking and Restoration. Its offer also includes in-person and online courses, monographic courses, and training actions aimed at unemployed individuals (ECYL) and workers (SEPE).

The center applies Milani's pedagogy along with a systemic constructivist model based on solutions, service learning, project-based learning, cooperative learning, and collaborative work, with training primarily oriented towards the "last ones." It has the CEA Lorenzo Milani, an environmental education center that serves as a space for environmental dissemination and awareness around unrecoverable fauna, butterfly oases, ponds for amphibians, insect hotels, mounds, and native flora. Among its collaborative projects are the creation of a natural grass 7-a-side football field and the planting, care, and harvesting of a poplar grove. The center collaborates with public administrations and associations in the design, development, and execution of eco-social projects and cooperation for development and environmental protection. Among its facilities, it has a chapel.
