Escola Joaquim Ruyra

Escola Joaquim Ruyra is a public center in Blanes that offers Early Childhood and Primary Education. It has a school cafeteria, publishes menus, as well as a school calendar and its own facilities. The center is defined as a training center for internships and has a parents' association (AFA). It also publishes information about its teaching staff.

Among its proposals, Primary students participate in local sports meetings and in the voluntary memorization of poems. The representatives of the different Primary courses meet with the management team to channel the voice of the students. The school participates in shared activities with other schools in the area, such as a dance day at Passeig de Mar, and the fourth-year students participate in the Blanes sings to the sea project around the havaneres.

Students go on trips to places like the Jardí Botànic Marimurtra or the Fundació Mona, and receive visits from authors as part of reading proposals. Talks on environmental issues, such as climate change, are also organized. The educational community participates in the selection of the covers for the next school year's agendas.
